Animal registrations

Residents are required to register their dogs and cats with Council from three months of age.

 

Residents are allowed to keep up to 2 dogs and/or 2 cats without a permit in a residential area and up to 6 dogs and 6 cats in a rural/farming area.

 

Registrations are due on 10th April each year, and registration forms are available from the Shire Office, by calling 54 610 610 or by clicking on the link below.

Pensioner Concession

If you are the hold of a Social Security Pension concession card you may be eligible for a 50% reduction of the fees.  Please note that holders of Health Care Cards are not eligible for a concession.
