Flood levee construction works in Carisbook will commence this Monday, 11 September.
The works, adjacent to Williams Road – from Landrigan Road east towards McCallums Creek - are part of the second part of Stage 2 works of the Carisbrook Flood Mitigation Project.
The Carisbrook Flood Mitigation Project involves four separate stages:
Construction works will take approximately 3 weeks to complete (weather permitting) and will be undertaken by local contractor Doran Earthmoving.
Works will involve the transportation of material from a stockpile site in Pleasant St Carisbrook, to the levee construction site off Landrigan Road, adjacent to Williams Road.
For the safety of road users, pedestrians and road workers please ensure that all road work signage and directions are obeyed.
The $2.25 million Carisbook Flood Mitigation Project is funded by - $250,000 from the Federal Government, $1.735 from the State Government and $270,000 from Central Goldfields Shire.
